清荒神清澄寺の境内に位置し、富岡鉄斎の晩年の傑作を中心に2,000余点に及ぶ膨大なコレクションを鑑賞できる。また、前庭には鉄斎ゆかりの地の名石や薄墨桜が配され、美術鑑賞にふさわしい静寂な環境が整っている。
