小諸市立小山敬三美術館の所蔵コレクションより、洋画家・小山敬三（1897-1987）の風景画を中心とした画業を振り返る。浅間山に強く惹かれ、晩年まで四季折々の浅間山を描き続けた小山の作品群を紹介。フランス留学で西洋絵画技法を学び、卓越した構図を追及した画家の視覚によるフルコースを展示室で堪能できる。
