Giovanni Battista Tiepolo became a pupil of Gregorio Lazzarini in 1710.2
Giovanni Battista Tiepolo was received into the Fraglia, or guild of painters, in 1717.2
In 1750, at the behest of Prince-Bishop Karl Philipp von Greiffenclau zu Vollraths, he traveled to Würzburg where he executed ceiling paintings in the New Residenz palace.2
