【小企画展】鉄斎―山水に遊ぶ―

東アジアの文人たちは、俗世を離れ自然を友とし山中で暮らす隠遁生活に憧れを抱き、画中の山水風景に心を遊ばせました。文人の精神をもって生きた富岡鉄斎（1836～1924）もまた無為自然を重んじる老荘思想に親しみ、中国・日本の山水画の系譜をたどって様々な画法を学びながら理想郷を追い求めました。自在の境地に至った晩年、長寿を尊び描いた仙境図は幸福感に満ち、大胆な筆致と豊かな色彩は見るものを魅了します。墨の濃淡とかすれが活かされた水墨山水の傑作《心遊仙境図》（前期展示）、緑青や群青をもちいて鮮やかに描く青緑山水の名品《東瀛遷苑図》（後期展示）などを中心に、鉄斎が思い描いた「胸中の丘壑」をお楽しみください。
