ひろしま美術館のコレクションから、印象派絵画、印象派を生んだ19世紀美術、ピカソなど20世紀の巨匠の作品を展示し、「印象派」とは何かをわかりやすく紹介。日本画や日本洋画における西洋受容も探る。
