ひろしま美術館のコレクションから、印象派絵画、印象派を生んだ19世紀美術、ピカソなど20世紀の巨匠の作品を展示し、「印象派」とは何かをわかりやすく紹介。日本画や日本洋画における西洋受容も探る。

The exhibition will feature Impressionist paintings, 19th-century art that gave rise to Impressionism, and works by 20th-century masters like Picasso, all from the Hiroshima Museum of Art's collection. It will also explore the reception of Western art in Japanese painting and Western-style Japanese painting.
