平成29年開催の企画展「南方より、伊東深水から―市川市所蔵《南方風俗スケッチ》」の内容を引き継ぎ、さらに発展させた展覧会。長野県の酒蔵美術館 ギャラリー玉村本店が所蔵する南方のスケッチと、終戦前後の小諸周辺を描いたスケッチを紹介。美人画家として名高い伊東深水が、太平洋戦争最中から終戦への時代の大きな流れを、自身のまなざしを通して描いた「光景」を、スケッチを通じて楽しむ。
