イマジュリィ（imagerie）とはイメージ図像を表すフランス語で、本展では本の装幀や挿絵、ポスター、絵はがき、広告、マンガ、写真など、大衆性の高い印刷物や版画の総称として用いています。本展では、明治時代以降の日本における書物のよそおいや印刷技術の変化に目を向けながら、書籍、雑誌や楽譜、広告など多種多様な大正イマジュリィの世界をご紹介します。時には可憐に、時には妖艶に、変幻自在なイマジュリィの数々をお楽しみください。
