昭和21年(1946)に旧石器時代が発見されてから今年で80年。縄文時代より前はどんな時代だったのか？本展はそんな素朴な疑問に答える展覧会です。本展では狩猟に使用されていたさまざまな石器などをご覧いただけます。本展は、当館では初めて旧石器時代をテーマとした展示になります。「縄文時代より前の時代ってどんな時代？」「旧石器時代って聞いたことあるかも」という旧石器時代ビギナーにうってつけの内容になっています。
