すみだの誇る名品「隅田川両岸景色図巻」の高精細複製画と世界に影響を与えた『北斎漫画』を常設する展示です。北斎の絵手本の実物約10冊を展示する「北斎漫画と北斎の絵手本」コーナーの隣では、「今月の逸品」として「冨嶽三十六景」をはじめとする北斎の錦絵の実物から毎月1作品を選び、月に1度展示替えを行いながら紹介します。手にとって見られる『北斎漫画』をはじめとする北斎の絵手本のレプリカ約15冊の展示も見どころです。
