Opened in 2016, this museum is dedicated to the ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849). The collection includes more than 1,800 items related to Hokusai, featuring the Peter Morse and Muneshige Narasaki collections. It displays works such as 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa' and the scroll 'Sumidagawa Ryogan Keshiki Zukan.' Designed by Kazuyo Sejima, the building features a minimalist aluminum façade and an angular design that reflects the surrounding scenery. The structure received the 59th BCS Award in 2018.
