2026年4月25日（土）～6月21日（日）の期間、大阪市立美術館にて開館90周年記念特別展「全力！名宝物語 ―大阪市美とたどる美のエピソード」を開催いたします。昭和11年（1936）に開館した大阪市立美術館は、令和8年（2026）に、開館90周年を迎えます。日本の公立美術館の中で三番目に古い伝統を持つ当館は、大規模改修工事を経て、現在も大阪の地に確固として息づいています。 歴史は、保存され、未来の礎となります。そして、「物語」へと展開して、形を変えて語り継がれていきます。一方、美術は、その「物語」自体を描くほか、時代や人々の息吹を視覚的に伝承します。 美術館の歴史は、その根幹を成す「美術品」自体が雄弁に語ります。 本展は、開館90周年を記念して、館蔵・寄託の名宝の数々を中心に展示し、美術館をめぐって紡がれた物語、美術に託された物語、そして美術の成立と未来への展望の物語をご紹介します。
