古代中国の金属工芸には、現代の技術をもってしても及ばない高度な技術が発揮されています。本展では、およそ3000年前の殷周時代から1300年前の唐時代までの金工品を中心にご紹介します。精緻な作りからなる「青銅透彫 龍文提梁香炉」や、力強い作りの「青銅鍍金 龍脚」、ピリっとした緊張感ある隋唐時代の銅鏡などの各種作品が皆様を魅惑の金工世界に誘います。
