本展では中国国内の主要な博物館、研究機関の所蔵する、中国の一級文物（日本の国宝に相当）44点を含むシルクロードの名宝、約200点を展示します。唐時代を中心とした華やかな中国の名品や、インドより伝来した仏教文化に関する経典や仏像、オアシスの人々の生活を伝える遺品などをとおして、シルクロードで生まれた文化の精華をご覧いただきます。
