何創時書法芸術基金会は何国慶（かこくけい）氏によって1995年に台北で創設された財団で、昨年30周年を迎えました。明・清時代の書を中心に多数の作品を蒐集し、展覧会・講座などの活動を通じて書芸術の振興を図っています。日本の書家や研究者で訪れる方も多く、注目されています。この度は、そのコレクションの中でも質量ともに最も充実している明代中期から明末清初の書に焦点をあて、日本初公開の作品を多数含む82件を精選して展示します。江戸時代には文徴明（ぶんちょうめい）・董其昌（とうきしょう）らの書をもとに、唐様（からよう）が流行しました。黄檗（おうばく）僧らがもたらした明末清初の書は、今日の書壇でも手本として習われています。明代の書は多様性に富み、個性あふれる作品が揃っています。本展を通じて、躍動する筆墨の美をぜひお楽しみください。
