大宮盆栽美術館では、大宮盆栽村100周年を記念し、盆栽村の歴史を振り返る特別展を開催します。会場では、地図や古写真など村の景観の移り変わりがわかるビジュアル資料に加え、盆栽村の開拓に尽力した盆栽園の第一世代の歩みを物語る資料や、盆栽作りの技術を伝える資料などを展示します。また、現在の盆栽村の盆栽園から各園を代表する名品盆栽を展示し、各園それぞれの特徴や魅力とともに紹介いたします。
