今回の展覧会は、パリのル・コルビュジエ財団と、ル・コルビュジエの美術作品に関する世界有数のコレクションをもつ大成建設株式会社の協力のもとで開催されます。本展のもっとも大きな特色は、ル・コルビュジエの絵画や彫刻を、彼自身が設計した美術館の空間の中で鑑賞できるところにあります。彼が後半生に「諸芸術の綜合」を訴えたことは近年あらためて注目されていますが、本展は彼の美術作品と建築空間が実際にどのように響きあうかを確かめることのできる機会となるでしょう。
