埼玉県川越出身の美術家・小村雪岱（1887-1940）は、大正から昭和初期にかけて、書籍の装幀、挿絵や舞台装置、日本画と、幅広い分野で活躍しました。本展では雪岱の代表作を網羅しつつ、画業を「人」とのつながりから再考します。小説家、出版人、役者や画家との交流を通し、雪岱の作品世界がいかに生み出されたかをご紹介します。
