ABOUT
茶の湯では、茶席を飾るものや使用するものは等しく「道具」と呼ばれます。心を尽くした一服の茶を、主客がともに味わうための茶席には、掛物をはじめとして、花入、茶入、茶碗、香炉、釜、炭道具など様々な種類の道具が必要になります。香雪美術館は、総数1,600点以上に及ぶ村山家旧蔵の日本・東洋の古美術、刀剣、茶道具のコレクションを、故 村山美知子氏(1920- 2020)より一括寄贈されたことを記念した展覧会を開催してまいりました。受贈記念シリーズ最終となる今回第4弾では、茶の湯の道具として用いられる、陶磁器・漆器・木竹工・金工などの工芸作品約70点をご紹介します。
