ABOUT
2022年3月に出版された『原郷の森』（文藝春秋）は、主人公Yが美術、小説、映画など様々な分野で名を残した著名人たちと時空を超えて語り合うものです。500ページにわたって繰り広げられる壮大な芸術論／人生論は、先達に学ぶ芸術家としての、または戦後日本文化の担い手かつ目撃者としての、あるいは兵庫県西脇市に生まれ育った純朴な少年の記憶を保つ横尾の姿を浮き彫りにします。本展では、この小説に関連する横尾の作品を、小説から抽出した文言とともに展示することで、言葉のみで表された世界をイメージを加え展覧会として構築しようと試みるものです。
