新型コロナウイルスにより、我々の日常は以前とは一変してしまいました。感染症が世界規模で蔓延する様はまるで映画のようにも見え、時に虚構と現実との境界線が曖昧になったような感覚に襲われますコロナ禍が起こるはるか以前から、横尾忠則は、虚実が交錯するかのような緊迫した状況を繰り返し描いてきました。今回は、横尾の絵画における、そうした危機的状況の表現に注目しますまたコロナ禍に反応するかたちで、横尾は現在、様々なビジュアルにマスクや口腔のイメージをコラージュする作品《With Corona》をウェブ上で展開しています。本展ではそれらを展示空間各所に散りばめるようなインスタレーションもあわせて行います
