その第一弾となる本展では、1960年代より書き続けているという日記に着目し、横尾の生活と制作の関連を探ります。日常的な物事に向ける横尾の視点の鋭さ、作品に転化させる際の編集の巧みさと大胆さをあぶり出し、ヨコオワールドの源泉をひも解くとともに、生活と制作のあらゆるプロセスを素材とし、作品として提出するアーティスト、横尾忠則の生き方に迫ります
