民藝は、暮らしのなかで育まれた道具で、その土地の風土や人々の思いが反映されています。他国の民藝に触れることは、その国や文化への理解となり、ひいては平和な世界へとつながると、吉田璋也（ 1898 ～ 1972 ）は「世界平和と民藝」の中で述べています。今期は吉田コレクションの中から海外の民藝を中心にご紹介します。「いいなぁ」と感じ、作品を通して作った人や文化に思いを馳せていただけましたら幸いです。
