季節の情景や草花などの色彩豊かな作品を描いた画家・横井照子。彼女は生前、子どもたちに「自然に触れ、いのちを観察し、表現する体験を通じて、想像力や感受性、表現力といった人生を豊かにする力を身につけてほしい」という想いを持っていました。その彼女の想いに共鳴し、横井照子ひなげし美術館では5回目となる「アート・コンクール」を開催いたします。この展覧会では横井照子の作品と、当コンクールの入賞・入選作品を展示します。横井照子と子どもたちによる競演を存分にお楽しみください。
