About this exhibition
「描きたいと思ったときには出来てるの」。岡本敏子がよくそう言っていました。エスキースを積み重ね、階段をのぼっていくように構想を固めていく一般的な作画プロセスとはまったく逆で、描きたいという衝動が湧きあがった段階で、岡本太郎の頭のなかにはほぼ完成形が立ちあがっているというのです。
