二度のヨーロッパ旅行での作品をまとめた『植田正治小旅行写真帖 音のない記憶』は、1974年に出版されています。1972年、初めての海外旅行に挑み夢中でシャッターを切ったといいます。今回の展覧会では、この〈音のない記憶〉のシリーズをはじめ、植田が海外で撮影した多彩な作品を紹介します。
