しとしとと降る長雨に濡れそぼつ木々の姿。アジサイの仲間「岩がらみ」は、みずみずしい葉に雨露を浮かべ、清楚な白い花を咲かせています。また、針葉の先に露を重ねた松は、幾層にも重なる樹皮を濡らし、その色は暗く沈んで一層深い亀裂をあらわにします。広げた葉に恵みの雨をいっぱいに受け、薄曇りのなかにしっとりとした姿を見せる木々の姿もまた、たしかに日本の季節の景観をあらわしていると言えるでしょう。
