Museum official page: www.nezu-muse.or.jp:80/jp/exhibition ↗鏡の歴史は古く、中国では新石器時代に青銅鏡の製作がはじまりました。人々は、鏡を人の心までをも映し出すなど、霊的な存在ととらえていました。それだけに、鏡の背面(鏡背)の文様には、当時の世界観や願いがこめられました。本展では、平成22年(2010)に村上英二氏より寄贈された中国古鏡コレクションから、天地のなりたちや神仙の世界、長寿や多産といった現世的な幸福を願う吉祥文様などをもつ約60件の名品をご覧いただきます。
This exhibition introduces approximately 60 masterpieces from the collection of ancient Chinese mirrors donated by Mr. Eiji Murakami.
Approximately 60 ancient Chinese mirrors featuring motifs such as the creation of heaven and earth, the world of immortals, and auspicious patterns wishing for longevity and fertility will be exhibited.
