サムソン・ヤン（楊嘉輝、1979年香港生まれ）の映像と音を使ったインスタレーションを紹介します。オーケストラが交響曲を演奏する様子が映し出されるも、楽器が奏でる音は消音（ミュート）されています。かわりに、いつもは聞こえていない、身体的な動作によって生み出されるガサガサというノイズのみが響く別世界が広がります。
