本展は、いま、日本の建築を読み解く鍵と考えられる9つの特質で章を編成し、機能主義の近代建築では見過ごされながらも、古代から現代までその底流に脈々と潜む遺伝子を考察します。貴重な建築資料や模型から体験型インスタレーションまで100プロジェクト、400点を超える多彩な展示によって、日本建築の過去、現在だけでなく、未来像が照らしだされることでしょう。
