本展では、現代アートから古典アートまでの旅を体験いただけます。ニューヨークで大盛況を博した「MICKEY:THE TRUE ORIGINAL」から選りすぐった作品を中心に、「原点＝THE ORIGIN」、「現代=THE TRUE ORIGINAL」、「未来=& BEYOND」の3つのゾーンで構成し、時代に合わせて変化し続け、常に未来を牽引し、“唯一無二の存在”であるミッキーマウスの進化を展望します。そして「未来=& BEYOND」ゾーンでは、日本展オリジナル企画として、各ジャンルの第一線で活躍する5人の日本人アーティストによって創造された、新しいミッキーマウスの展示を初公開いたします。
