本展では、ゲームエンジン（※1）、AI、仮想現実（VR）、さらには人間の創造性を超え得る生成AIなどのテクノロジーを採用した現代アート約50点を紹介します。そこではデジタル空間上のさまざまなデータが素材となった全く新しい美学やイメージメイキング（図像や画像を作ること）の手法、アバターやキャラクターなどジェンダーや人種という現実社会のアイデンティティからの解放、超現実的な風景の可視化、といった特性が見られます。ただ、これら新しい方法を採用しながら、アーティストの表現の根幹では普遍的な死生観や生命、倫理の問題、現代世界が抱える環境問題、歴史解釈、多様性といった課題が掘り下げられています。
