About this exhibition
大阪・関西万博のシグネチャーパビリオン「いのちの未来」をアップデートし、東京・高輪で再構成した展覧会。ロボット工学者・石黒浩がプロデュースし、アンドロイドを通して「人間とは何か」「いのちとは何か」という根源的な問いを投げかける。構成は3つのゾーン。ZONE 1「いのちの歩み」では、土偶・埴輪・仏像・能面・文楽人形からアンドロイドへと続く、日本人がモノにいのちを宿してきた歴史をたどる。ZONE 2「50年後の未来」では、ヘッドセットを着けて2075年のある家族の物語を追体験する。東京版では「いのちの未来の選択」に向き合う新たなシナリオが加わり、複数のアンドロイドが不死の選択について語り合う場面が置かれた。ZONE 3「1000年後のいのち"まほろば"」では、からだの制約から解き放たれた進化した人間の姿と出会う。別料金で、AIを搭載した「漱石アンドロイド2.0」との対話体験も用意されている。
