原美術館ARC開館3年目の年間テーマ展の第2期。自身の理想を求め、当時の美術的・社会的動向に背を向けた国内外の作家の表現を展観。「原美術館コレクション」（現代美術）と「原六郎コレクション」（東洋古美術）を展示した。
The exhibition runs from September 9, 2023 (Saturday) to January 8, 2024 (Monday, holiday).
It is held at Contemporary Art Galleries A, B, C, Special Exhibition Room, and Kankai Pavilion.
Works from the Hara Museum Collection (contemporary art) and the Hara Rokuro Collection (Oriental ancient art) are on display.
Featured artists include Shusaku Arakawa, Shigeko Kubota, Gilbert & George, Joseph Beuys, Yoshitomo Nara, Miwa Yanagi, Shiba Kokan, and Yokoyama Taikan.
