東京美術学校(現東京芸術大学)日本画科を卒業した二人は、岐阜へは戻らず関東に居をかまえ、日展を舞台に活躍しました。しかし、ふるさと岐阜への思いは強く、たびたび帰郷してはふるさとの風物を描き留めていました。本展では、栄三・東一の描いた岐阜にまつわる作品を展示します。
