吉田璋也（明治31年～昭和47年）は、衣食住「生活のすべてが民藝でありたい」と、1931年より現代の生活に沿ったものをデザイン、プロデュースする活動を始めました。今期展示では、当時おしゃれな紳士の間で評判となった、英国製ホームスパンのネクタイをモデルとして作られた鳥取製ににぐりネクタイをはじめとする糸ものと、豊かな民藝美あふれる暮しのしつらえをご覧ください。
