これまで長谷川は、「画」と「論」に象徴されるように、画家としてだけでなく、評論家・思想家としての顔を持ち合わせる作家と位置づけられてきました。ここでは、さらにキュレーターとしての側面に注目をします。本年生誕120周年を迎える長谷川の作品と、関係作家の作品からその足跡を辿りつつ、展覧会の仕事、そして、生涯にわたる旺盛な執筆活動の紹介を通して、総合的な芸術家としての実像に迫ります。
