本展示では、二人の岐阜ゆかりの洋画家を特集展示します。本展示では生誕120周年を記念し、所蔵する油彩画、水墨画、素描を中心に紹介します。本展示では、生誕155年/没後130年の記念の年として、初期の素描と丁寧に描き上げられた油彩により、洋画に捧げた牧野の真摯な視線に迫ります。
