本野東一氏（1916～1996）は、モダニズム建築家として知られる本野精吾を父として生まれ、モダニズムの気風のあふれる雰囲気の中で育ちました。モダニズム染色を希求した本野東一の作品を展示して、その染色表現の世界を巡り、再評価を図ることをめざします。
