About this exhibition
三橋さんの染めによる表紙原画には、そこはかとない詩情が漂っている。季節ごとの風物や自然など、作者の心に映じたイメージが、柔らかな色彩と、確かな観察眼をもとにしながらも、どこか遠い記憶を探るような感覚で表現されている。描かれた題材は、食べものや草花、小さな行事など、ほとんどが日常の身の回りにある事物を対象にしている。
