"山陰にて"と題して開催する２回目の展示では、山陰の子どもたちのさまざまなイメージ、「輝き」を紹介します。カメラに戸惑う子ども、素朴な表情、はかなげな姿、笑顔、魅力的で愛らしい子どもたちが、植田正治の作品にはしばしば登場します。今回の展覧会では、植田が各年代、各シリーズにわたり、カメラ、アプローチや表現方法も変えながら、"山陰にて"子どもたちを撮り続けた足跡を概観します。
