植田は1980年代、ファッションをはじめ「仕事の写真」を多く手がけますが、同時に「自分の写真」を常に追い求めていました。今回の展示では、妻の死を乗り越えふたたび写真と真摯に向き合った写真家の姿を浮き彫りにします。
