植田正治は、生まれ育った山陰を中心に活動を続け、ありふれた身の回りの風景を「写真」にしています。住み慣れた土地の見慣れた事物であっても、山陰の風や光は、新鮮な感覚と新しい発見を植田にもたらし、創作意欲や遊び心を掻き立てたのでしょう。植田の自由で多彩なイメージは、写真表現の無限の可能性を感じさせてくれます。
