今回の展覧会では、1950年代の作品を中心に、戦前の作品、シリーズ〈童暦〉、〈小さい伝記〉、〈風景の光景〉など、代表的な作品群の中から、白と黒、光と影、明と暗を強く意識した作品の数々を紹介します。デジタルでのイメージが身近にあふれている現在、あらためてモノクロ写真のシンプルでありながら、奥深い魅力を実感していただけることでしょう。
