今回の展示会タイトル、「リフレイン」は、繰り返しを意味する英語（フランス語では「ルフラン」）で、詩や歌で各節の終わりに印象的に繰り返される言葉やメロディを意味します。植田正治が遺した多くのイメージを概観する時、時代を越えて繰り返される被写体、撮影地、小物、テーマ、技法など様々な「リフレイン」に気がつきます。
