古来より山陰地方で語り継がれてきた国引き神話（＊ 1 ）の一節に、「三身（みつみ）の綱うちかけて、霜黒葛（しもつづら）くるやくるやに、河舟のもそろもそろに、国来国来（くにこくにこ）と」の五七調で知られるダイナミックな名文があります。この国引き神話の舞台のひとつでもある鳥取県境港市に生まれた植田正治が、 1960 年代から 70 年代にかけて撮影したカラーによる山陰の風景、「シリーズ＜出雲＞」をご紹介します。
