20世紀エコール・ド・パリの作品に関しては国内有数の所蔵品を誇る名古屋市美術館。改修工事のため休館になることから、その名品群を一堂に紹介する展覧会が実現いたしました。同館の良質のコレクションに当館の代表的作品を加えて織り成す夢の世界。芸術の都パリで活動し、前衛と古典のはざまで揺れ動き、その経験を生涯の糧とした、モディリアーニやパスキン、藤田嗣治、シャガールら、悩める天才たちの作品に繰り広げられる色と形の多様な美をお楽しみください。
