本展覧会では、土岐市美濃陶磁歴史館のコレクションから選び抜いた名品に、土岐市の寺社に伝わった貴重な文化財を加え、当地で育まれてきた優れた造形美を古墳時代から現代までたどります。元屋敷陶器窯跡出土品（重要文化財）の織部など美濃桃山陶や、土岐市ゆかりの小山冨士夫、塚本快示などの作品、そして仏像、書画など約７０件を展示します。
