「染・清流展」は、第一線で活躍する現代染色作家に、所属団体の枠を超えて新作を出品していただき、染色文化のすばらしさを広く観覧者に伝えるとともに、染色界の活性化を目指す展覧会です。今展では、美術館関係者やメディア関係者などで構成する選考委員会が選んだ34名の染色作家が、この展覧会のために制作した作品を、前期、後期の二期に分け展示します。
