ABOUT
このたび札幌大通地下ギャラリー500m美術館では、北海道を拠点とする日本画家8名による、札幌・北海道の風景や日常を題材とした日本画展を開催いたします。古来より「○○八景」と呼ばれる風景表現は、近江八景をはじめ各地で描かれ、その土地の風土や人々の営みを象徴的に捉えるものとして広く親しまれてきました。本展ではその視点を現代に引き継ぎ、札幌という都市における風景や日常を、日本画の表現を通して捉え直します。
