佐喜眞美術館
普天間飛行場の一部返還地に建ち、丸木位里・俊夫妻による「沖縄戦の図」を常設展示する美術館。屋上からは普天間飛行場を見渡すことができ、慰霊の日の日没線に合わせた階段など、平和を考えるための建築的工夫が施されています。

Visit official site →Sakima Art Museum is a private art museum that opened in Ginowan, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan in 1994. The collection includes The Battle of Okimawa (沖縄戦の図) by Iri and Toshi Maruki, and works by Käthe Kollwitz, Georges Rouault, Yayoi Kusama, and Ueno Makoto.
